This offer is externally managed by The Marketing Lounge Partnership (MLP) of The Cow Shed, Walnut Tree Farm, Lower Stretton, Cheshire WA4 4PG on behalf of U K Insurance Limited. This offer is open to all UK residents who meet the qualifying criteria, except employees of MLP, their immediate families, their agents and anyone else connected with the promotion.

  1. You will be able to make a booking enquiry, once you are in receipt of your gift communication, containing your unique booking code. Booking enquiries cannot be accepted prior to receiving this gift communication.
  2. Each MOT unique booking code entitles the bearer to one FREE MOT for a class 4 vehicle, at any of the participating MOT centres.
  3. Participating MOT centres can be found by using the area selector on the MOT Centres tab.
  4. The use of the MOT is subject to availability at the MOT centre and no cash or alternative offers are available. The offer can't be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer. Unique booking codes must not be sold and can't be used for any other purpose.
  5. The FREE MOT offer can only be redeemed against the cost of a MOT at participating MOT centres.
  6. Bookings can be made between 1 and 30 days in advance. Same day bookings will not be honoured.
  7. To make your booking call the MLP Reservations Team on 01565 656 269 and quote your unique booking code, along with a few date and featured location options that suit your need.
  8. Once a booking has been confirmed with the MLP Reservations Team, you will need to present your email/letter confirmation at the time of your MOT.
  9. Any bookings made directly with the MOT centre will not be honoured. MLP are unable to settle payment with the MOT centre retrospectively in these instances.
  10. Only the person who is named on the letter of eligibility is entitled to utilise the Free MOT offer and this cannot be passed to third parties.
  11. Once your MOT is complete, the MOT centre will provide you with an itemised report on the vehicle inspection.
  12. Should your vehicle fail the initial MOT test, customers will be given the option of having a retest. The retest will be charged at the MOT centres standard charge and this is to be settled by you, the customer.
  13. If any repairs are identified or are required to pass the MOT, an additional charge will apply for any parts and labour and these are to be settled by you, the customer.
  14. You are under no obligation to take a retest or further works on your vehicle should this be required.
  15. Any additional works required are not included in the offer. Any payment for additional works or a retest will need to be settled with the MOT centre at the time of purchase by you (the customer).
  16. The free MOT must be booked and carried out within 12 months from the date stated on your letter.
  17. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotions or discounts generated by either the participating MOT centres or MLP.
  18. Cancellations: With effect of any cancellations or amendments, your unique booking code will therefore become void.
  19. Each MOT centre has confirmed its willingness to participate in this promotion. The Promoter or any associated partner cannot be held responsible for any MOT centre subsequently declining acceptance of a booking using the offer.
  20. Should there not be an MOT centre within a 30 minute drive of your residential property or workplace, please contact the MLP Reservations Team on 01565 656 269 and we will endeavour to find you a closer garage to utilise the free MOT offer.
  21. This offer is only valid for class 4 vehicles as determined by DVSA https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/driver-and-vehicle-standards-agency for more details.
  22. Under no circumstance shall MLP be liable to any person or business for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages based on the use of the service under this offer.
  23. The Promoter, its agents and distributors do not guarantee the quality and/or availability of the service offered by your chosen MOT centre and can't be held responsible for any resulting disagreement.
  24. Data collected will only be used by The Promoter, MLP and the MOT centre in connection with this promotion and only for internal use, and will not be passed to third parties.
