Who is this prize draw open to?

You are eligible to enter one of the prize draws if the following conditions are met:

  • You have purchased any new Direct Line van insurance policy between 6th August and 30th October 23:59 ('Offer Period').
  • Cover does not need to commence between these dates, but the policy must be purchased during the Offer Period;
  • Your policy must be active at the time of draw and payments up to date.
  • You must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident.

The following customers are not eligible to enter the prize draw:

  • Existing Direct Line van customers who are renewing their policy.
  • Any permanent or contracted Direct Line Group employee.

What is the prize?

If you meet the conditions above:

  • You'll be automatically entered into one of the three (3) prize draws to win a sum equal to the total cost of your annual premium (excluding any credit/charges/interest).
  • Three of the overall entries will be drawn as winners from each prize draw.
  • This prize relates to winning a sum equal to the cost of the first year of your policy only and does not apply in the case of any subsequent renewals.

How do I enter?

  • Entry is automatic.
  • If you meet the eligibility criteria, we will automatically enter you into the respective prize draw based on your purchase date.
  • An e-mail will be sent within 20 days from the end of each prize draw offer period you purchased, giving you the opportunity to opt-out if you do not want to be entered into the prize draw you are eligible for. Follow the link within the email and the next steps outlined will remove you from the prize draw. If you opt out of the prize draw - you will not be included and as such cannot be selected as a winner.

How do I opt out?

If you are sure that you'd like to opt out of the chance of winning your annual premium back, you can click on the 'Opt Out' link within your 'what happens next' email. Following the link within the email and following the next steps outlined will remove you from the prize draw. If you opt out of the prize draw - you will not be included and as such cannot be selected as a winner. Please make sure you read the email carefully.

When will I find out if I've won?

Winners will be selected at random, and we will notify them via email by the date in the 'When will the prize draws take place' section of the terms and conditions to let them know they have.

How do I get my prize?

You will receive your prize by cheque in the post within 14 days of you being notified as a winner.

How can I check if I've won?

All winners will be contacted via email. However, if you think you may have any issues receiving emails, you can contact us.
